Looking for a Supervisor?

Why Choose Me?

  • I am dedicated to helping you become the best counsellor you can be.

  • I am a friendly and relaxed person and I pride myself on being down to earth and approachable. I love being a counsellor but also understand the pitfalls and difficulties that this career can involve. I started counselling because counselling helped me believe in myself and my practice is about helping clients to believe in themselves and what they can achieve.

  • I believe that my skills, knowledge and experience can help you to build confidence in your abilities so you too can believe in your abilities and reach your full potential as a counsellor.

My Qualifications:

BA (Hons) in Psychology 2013

Level 2 Certificate in the Introduction to Counselling 2016

Level 3 Diploma in Counselling 2017

Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling 2021

Certificate in Clinical Supervision Including Online and Telephone Working Course 2024

What I Offer:

  • Regular Online Supervision: I know how important supervision is in helping you to navigate what is going on for you in your practice and I can offer regular support to help you feel you are not alone.

  • Skill Development: I can share my knowledge and perspective to help you to enhance your counselling techniques and build confidence in your abilities. I can support you whether you are an experienced counsellor or are newly qualified to explore new avenues and work out what parts of counselling you would like to look into further.

  • Safeguarding Advice: I will help you to manage safeguarding issues as they arise with your clients. I understand the risks that can be involved in working with individuals and will work with you to ensure you feel that both you and your clients are safe.

  • Criminal Justice Processes: Having previously worked for Victim Support and now working for Rape Crisis, I have a good understanding of pre-trial therapy and what this entails. I can help you to feel confident working with clients who are involved with the criminal justice system.

  • Self-Care Strategies: While supervision is largely about client work, I have often found think supervision useful when it has helped me to learn about myself. I offer my time to also help you look at and understand more about your needs and help you to  maintain your own well-being. As they say "you can't pour from an empty cup", I think this is such an important element of supervision.

  • Professional Growth: I believe that my approach will help you to feel supported to get what you need from our sessions to help you put the steps in place to achieve your career aspirations.

I charge £55 for an hour of Supervision and charge £80 for ninety minutes (as BACP recommends we have 1.5 hours per month for accreditation). I can do this online or can come to your place of work. Please note there may be a small additional charge to cover travel costs.

Feel free to email me with any questions selfcentrecounselling@outlook.com

I look forward to hearing from you!
